Ussian Space Agency Declares Rendezvous with Asteroids.

According to a latest research, there is a threat to the Earth by some deadly asteroids and the scientists from Russia's state-run space agency and the national academy of sciences have decided to work day-in and day-out on this project.

The scientists are trying to ward off the ill effect of these deadly asteroids and in order to do the same they are heading towards a comprehensive project.

Oleg Ostapenko, who leads the federal space agency, Roskosmos, said that the two institutions that spearhead the country's space science would look closer at the asteroid threat forecast for the year 2032.

The Crimean astronomers roaming in the interstellar space have recently spotted an asteroid measuring 1,300m in diameter. Its route has been estimated to lie directly in the path of the Earth, which will compel it to meet our planet once in the next 19 years.

Mr. Ostapenko said that his agency would work on an efficient way to tackle the asteroid scare, although he sounded more inquisitive than concerned.

He said, "It sounds quite interesting that we could formulate an objective of this kind, involving asteroids. But first we need to draw up an assessment plan to make clear what we can do and how we can achieve it".
